How does Carbon Angel know that the carbon offset is working?
It's really simple - either the donation is taking CO2 (subscript 2) out of the air or it is not; either it is creating renewable energy or it is not. Partners are able to log in to personalized portfolios and pick which areas to offset. Partners are also able to check statistics and third party comments.
How can I be sure that the offsets are having a local impact?
You are in control of this. You get to choose which offsets you want to invest in and which geographic region you want to focus on. Once you choose the project and get your certificate, you will be able to login to your ecoFolio™ and see the progress.
